Real Madrid agree world-record €180million deal for Mbappe

Real Madrid have agreed a deal to sign Kylian Mbappe from Monaco.

Popular Spanish outlet, Marca, reports that the European champions are determined enough to “pulverise” all transfer records, in their quest to land the 18-year-old.

It is claimed Madrid “have reached an agreement in principle with Monaco for the transfer of Kylian Mbappe”.

The transfer would cost them an eye-watering €180 million in total, consisting of a €160m fee and an extra €20m in incentives.

Marca also adds that the previous world record fee, paid by Manchester United for Juventus midfielder Paul Pogba last summer, “could be ancient history soon.”
